Please help! I have a female yorkie who is a year and a half old (Bella). Exactly 2 weeks ago today we got a new 6 week old yorkie (Maci). They do not get along AT ALL. Bella gets right in Macis face and growls and barks. When Maci tries to play with a toy or bone Bella will grab it and try to take it from her.. sometimes she even drags Maci across the floor by the toy in her mouth. There has been 3 or 4 incidents where Bella actually bit Maci. There was no blood, but Maci cried so I know it hurt
I’m so sorry to hear your babies are fighting! The short answer is to hire a trainer right away or go see your vet.
There is probably a dominance issue, and you aren’t dominant enough, or possibly a medical issue. Either way, please let a professional help.
Anyone else have other ideas?
